When it comes to college,the majority of people believe that college is free and relaxing and they can do anything they want.However,people seem to fail to take account the fact that a substantial college life needs our great efforts.In other words,we should pay sweat and tears to fight for our dreams.
There is no denying the fact that study is the most important thing in the college.Only if when we eich ourselves,can we get a meaningful college life.Attending classes and studying in the library keep me busy and provide me with access to valuble information,adding to my knowledge base.
What’s more,sports also plays an major role in my college life.Many experts point out that physical exercise contributes directly to a person’s physical fitness.Also,I think it can eich my spare time.In addition,lots of activities fill our college life.We may be attracted by many new things,but time is limited,so we should choose the most significant activity to join to show our shining point.
In short,we should value our life in the university. Four years is only a short period when compared with our whole lifetime. In the university we mature, and in the university we prepare ourselves for the real world. Although there are many things lacking, the four years in the university is a worthwhile period in our whole lifetime.
Four years is a long time,but it is a short time in some perspective.We spend time on the things which we think is worth to do.Different people has different life habits.Thus,they will gains different future four years later.For me,I will cherish my time and try more challengable things so that it can leave me more warm memories.

When you become a college student, it means that you start to lead another new life. College is significant for us and we will get more knowledge from here. Therefore, we should do our best to make our college life more meaningful. But what should we do?
In fact, college is just like a small society. In this small society, college is full of all kinds of competitions. As a college student, we should face them bravely instead of giving them up. Rumi said “you were born with wings, why prefer to crawl through life?” So we should develop ourselves hard. For example, we can take part in all kinds of activities and join in varieties of students associations in college. They will eich our life and improve our abilities to communicate with others. And if you have some excellent abilities, you will feel it’s not very
difficult to find a dream job after graduating from the college. Therefore, we should try our best to show ourselves, to develop ourselves and to improve ourselves.
Besides, in my opinion, studying is very important for us, too. With China entering into the WTO, Chinese people can communicate with
foreigners more easily than before. And college students will have more and more challenges. So, we should not prefer to study very hard rather than practise knowledge. The experience gathered from books, though often valuable, is but the nature of learning; where as the experience gained from actual life is of the nature of wisdom. In college, you will learn a lot of things not only in textbooks, but also out of class; not only in theory, but also in practice. If you can use the knowledge that you
have got to solve some problems in our life, you will do more meaningful things instead of regretting for things you did not do.
In addition, we should get on well with others. Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle. The friends who you meet in college will give you some valuable help in the future. And if you have lots of real friends, you won’t feel lonely, you will enjoy the time in college.
College is so important for us that we should value it well. We should remember these and do like them. And only in these ways, will our college life be more meaningful.

Talk about your college life——expectation VS reality.
李：college life, to some extent, is a preparation for our future challenge. Sometimes the campus life is out of our expectation and gets us twisted. Guys , is it the same with your expectation? 毛：I would like to talk something about study . Saying good-bye to the high school life, we start a campus life without endless examination papers and piles of homework, which is what I thought before, and the reality is so. However, study is still our most important task in reality. For many college students, the studies seem no lighter than before. Under the stress of getting a good job and the serious competition of society, students are engaged in achieving all kinds of testimonials. Some of them even minor in other subjects besides their majors. I think it is really different from my expatation.
周： yeah ,I really agree with you.And it carry over in the college social life .Leaving the high school, we face to a whole new and colorful campus life, so I do. On my mind, there should be countless parties and all kinds of gathering that will interest us a lot. We can meet different people and develop our leadership there. As Aristotle said man is a social animal, we do need some social ability . In the fact , However,the associations doesn’t appeal to me at all and I really have no interest in their activities. In the binge night I prefer to bury myself into books or play computer rather than be immersed in drink and dusty parties. I don’t know why.
姜：yeah，I totally agree with you. I expected my college was in a modern city and it came ture.My college located in the centure of Hangzhou,but it may be the smallest college in Hangzhou .And I conceived I sat in the shade with a coffee but now I am rushing to the library with a Shangdong pan-cake; I once thought my daily exercise was yoga but it now is just walking from study hall to dorm. Sometimes I feel my campus life is too peaceful, and we are confined to our own little circle so that do not know what the outside world is happening.
陈：On entering my college campus ,I felt that I wound must have a new impression on what the university is and how the college life is. My college campus is large as well as beautiful ,surrounding by different kinds of trees and flowers ,and the classroom buildings are all designed perfectly and filled with voice of reading .what’s more ,my classmates are all active and friendly and my teachers are all so learned and patient that they can not only teach us knowledge but also make friends with us .All the things above are similar to what I supposed in my expectations before entering university. However ,on the other hand ,there is still something out of my expectations ,such as the dormitories and the students’ cafeteria .
熊：I can’t agree more. In my former expectations ,we may have four roommates to share our dormitory every room and the electricity won’t be cut off after 23:00.But the reality is just opposite .In addition ,the number of our cafeteria is more than what I expected. Of course ,there must be something out of our expectations ,from my point of view .I will try my best to adapt to the new environment.
李：In our expectation, the college is a holy place with independent spirit and free thoughts. It is the source of creativity by creating novel ideas and new culture.However ,more and more students felt disappointed to college life. I think it is because students lose their aims when they enter the college. What’s more, they are faced with more temptations than before. Without the aims, they don’t know what they should do.Not surprising, they may have nothing to do all day,and failed to develop themselves in college.
